The South African Society of Travel Medicine (SASTM) was formed in 2000 with the purpose of addressing the needs of all those involved in travel medicine and health.

The Society welcomes as its members all who are involved in this field, allowing all to have an equal vote in the development of the Society and in the election of the office-bearers.
